了望塔位于2997.9米的望农亭上，高40米，属于防林护火、监测森林病虫害的配套设施，1985年10月1日建成。 板壁岩海拔2160米，生长箭竹，并有高山杜鹃夹杂。多次发现“野人”毛发、粪便、脚印、足窝。脚印长24.5厘米，步履2.68米。
