      从江河、湖泊、水库或人工水道将水引入渠道、隧洞、管道的建筑物。又称取水建筑物。进水建筑物包括进水口(开敞式进水口和深式进水口)、进水闸、扬水站以及为截取河床潜流的引水工程的进水部分。开敞式进水口位于灌溉渠道或引水式水电站等的进口。深式进水口位于水工隧洞、坝下埋管或坝身泄水孔的首部,是灌溉、水力发电、城镇供水等工程中的重要组成部分。进水建筑物需要满足以下各项要求:①具有足够的过流能力,即在设计条件下能保证引用所需的流量;②结构布置和体形设计得当,进流平顺,水头损失小,避免出现不利的负压和空蚀破坏;③在多泥沙河流上,要结合实际,采用适宜的防沙措施,保证进口前免受淤积,防止推移质泥沙进入渠道;④设置闸门等控制设备,用以调节流量,或在紧急事故时关闭进口,便于维修;⑤具有足够的强度和稳定性,结构简单合理,施工方便,有利于运行和管理,造价低廉,外形美观等。
