Experimental study on pressure drop characteristics in a wet flue gas desulfurization(WFGD) sieve tray spray scrubber was carried out by taking water and air as the medium,during which factors influencing the pressure drop characteristics were discussed,such as the diameter and percentage of the openings,the thickness and location of the tray and the liquid spray rate etc.
