利用液体或气体的压力或体积随温度变化的特性制成的接触式温度传感器。它是常用的直读式测温仪表,从原理上说，玻璃液体温度计(包括最常用的水银温度计)也属于这类测量仪表。一种灵敏度更高的压力式温度计由温包、毛细管、弹簧管（波登管）、连动机构和指针构成（见图）。温包接触被测对象，进行热交换达到平衡。充灌于密闭的温包、毛细管和弹簧管内的工作物质的压力（或体积）随温度而变化。压力的变化使弹簧管的曲率发生变化，并使自由端产生位移，通过连杆和传动机构带动指针直接在刻度盘上指示温度的变化值。
