性质: 剪切试验中,试样能承受的最大剪切应力与试样原始横截面积之比,单位MPa。在进行搭接接头强度试验中,就是使试样移动部分与静止部分呈完全脱离状态所需之最大负荷。测定材料的剪切强度通常可以用扭转试验来进行;层压材料的层间剪切强度可由专门的剪切弯曲试验来进行;搭接接头强度试验用专门的试验片来进行,以检验粘接材料的粘接性能。构件在实际工作条件下的受力情况是复杂的,造成材料破坏的原因也是多方面的,剪切破坏是其破坏形式之一。所以剪切强度这一物理量仅是材料的力学特性之一。
