【化学成分】
每100克约含水分76克，蛋白质20.2克，脂肪2.8克，灰分1.2克，钙17毫克，磷66毫克，铁9.3毫克，硫胺素0.01毫克，核黄素0.15毫克，尼克酸0.4毫克。
【性味】
甘，平。 ①《千金·食治》："平。" ②《本草图经》："温平。" ③《纲目》："甘，温，无毒。"
【功用主治】
补肺气，调水道。治肺痿咳嗽，消渴，小便不利或频数。 ①《别录》："补肺，主咳嗽。" ②《千金·食治》："止渴，治小便多，伤中，补虚不足，去风邪。" ③《纲目》："通肺气，利小便，行水解毒。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煮食或入丸剂。
【选方】
①治久嗽肺燥、肺痿：羊肺一具，杏仁(净研)、柿霜、真酥、真粉各一两，白蜜二两。先将羊肺洗净，次将五味入水搅粘，灌入肺中，白水煮熟，如常食之。(《十药神书》辛字润肺膏) ②治渴，止小便数：羊肺，并小豆叶，煮食之。(《唐本草》) ③治水气肿、鼓胀，小便不利：莨菪子一升，羖羊肺一具。上二味，先洗羊肺，汤微煠之，薄切，暴干作末，以三年大醋渍莨菪子一晬时，出，熬令变色，热捣如泥，和羊肺末，蜜合捣作丸，如梧子大。以麦门冬饮服四丸，日三，以喉中干、口粘、浪语为候，数日小便大利。(《千金方》) ④治尿数而多：羊肺一具。作羹，纳少羊肉和盐豉，如食法，任性食。(《千金方》)
