性质:又称3-氯过氧苯甲酸(3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid)。白色结晶,熔点69~71℃。不溶于水,室温下稳定,受热能引起爆炸,与易燃物接触引起着火,对皮肤有刺激性。由间氯苯甲酰氯与过氧化氢在氢氧化钠溶液中反应后,再经酸化制得。因玻璃表面能催化分解此产物,反应须在聚乙烯器皿中进行。用作氧化剂,如应用于拜耳-维利格反应(Baeyer-Villiger reaction)中。
