We measured diurnal dynamics of soil respiration rates for different restoration communities in eroded bare land in the Hetian town,Changting county,Fujian province by closed-chamber infrared gas analyzer(IRGA) method,and the rates measured by this method were compared with those measured by the alkali absorption(AA) method.

According to meteorological factor and underlying surface condition of the watershed both Jinsha river and Jialing river in Yangtze upstream river, the probability of Yangtze upstream river changing into second Yellow river are studied based on surface erosion, sediment transportation, water and soil loss, as well as human activity.

Interplanting green manures with the orchard of the eroded inferior lands could decrease the temperature of earth s surface remarkably and retard the acute change of ground temperature,and has some effects in decreasing air temperature and increasing air humidity.

Interplanting green manures with the orchard of the eroded inferior lands could increase the contents of organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and effective nutrients in the soil.

Some problems, such as irregular structural measure, low cover degree, low utilization ratio of light and poor soil fertility, existed in the eroded slope lands which were used as orchard, can be resolved through ripe technology present.
