On base of the field data analysis,it introduces the types of weathered in the city of Rizhao,discusses the reconnaissance characters of the granite diorite weathered band in the city of Rizhao,puts forward the reconnaissance experience in certain area,and simply introduces the chain,to accelerate the research on the rock in weathered area and the construction of the city.

SHRIMP U-Pb dating of zircons from granodiorite porphyry gravels in a conglomeratic lithic sandstone sample from this suite of rocks yields a weighted mean age of 314.
