性质:起光电转换作用的一种检测器。以封闭的玻璃管作为外壳,其中有光电发射阴极和阳极集电器。阴极为由镍片涂氧化铯和氧化银的组合层。当光束照射在阴极表面时,便发射光电子。阳极一般为高纯金属钽或钛制成板极(或棒状)。这种由入射辐射而释放的电子从阴极传到阳极,并使信号放大。光电发射管在约300nm区域有良好的响应。
