In order to analyze the prying force which commonly exists in extended end-plate bolted connections,finite element method considering contact problem is adopted to study the magnitude and distributing rule of prying force on the end-plate interface,and the main inflection factors of prying force.

Analyses of the Strength and Tightness of the Bolted Flanged Connection Under the Action of Additional Loads;

By considering the nonlinear and nonconservative mechanical performance of gaskets,the finite element method for analyzing the integrity of bolted flanged connections at elevated temperature and subjected to additional loads was established.

In view of the high demand on the coaxial tolerance of linear induction accelerator in centering assembling and considering the interaction among flange,bolts and gasket,finite element analysis was adopted and a 3-D finite element model of accelerator in centering assembling with bolted-flange connection was built.
