性质:制革准备阶段的一个工序。浸灰(碱)后的裸皮须在弱酸性溶液内处理脱去灰(碱),目的是除去皮内碱性物质,消除皮的膨胀状态,调整皮的pH值至8.0左右,以适应下一步酶柔的要求。常用的脱灰(碱)剂有硫酸铵、氯化铵、亚硫酸氢钠和酸类。一般轻革需充分脱灰、重革仅需表面脱灰。脱灰程度用酚酞指示剂滴于皮的臀部切口来检验,未脱灰处呈红色,已脱灰处则无色。
