By means of analysis on the variation of relative density of settleable solids in the wastewater passing in and out of the grit chamber,the grit removal effect of grit chamber can be evaluated objectively.

After years of usage, there exist many problems in intake, grit chamber in beach, lift pump station and open channels, and directly affect the raw water quality and flow rate of Shiyuan Waterworks.
