性质:又称离解常数。弱电解质溶液中,解离的离子与未解离的分子间建立的动态平衡,其平衡常数(K)称为电离常数。如醋酸的电离平衡:HAcH++Ac-,K=aH+·aAC-/aHAc,aH+、aAc-及aHAc分别表示H+、Ac-及HAc在达成电离平衡时的活度(mol/L)。K是温度的函数。它是电解质的重要特征数值之一,它的大小反映了弱电解质的强弱。弱酸或弱碱的电离常数,称为酸度常数(Ka)或碱度常数(Kb)。如甲酸的Ka值为1.8×10-3;醋酸的Ka值为1.8×10-4。显然,在水溶液中甲酸的酸度大于醋酸。
