  烈吸收和发射长波辐射的能力,其中尤以水汽的吸收最明显。水汽对地球辐射有两个强吸收带,个在 45一8.0微米,另1个在18微 米以上的远红外认水汽对8一 12微米波段的辐射吸收很少, 该波段是重要人气窗液态水 对长波辐射的吸收更强烈,0.1 毫米的薄层水可以吸收长波辐 射能量的99%,不很厚的云层 就能完全吸收地面辐射,同时 云层本身又以接近黑体的辐射 能力向上和向下放射长波辐 射。CO:对地球长波辐射也有 两个强吸收带,中心分别位于 4.3和14.7微米。臭氧和氧的吸 收带有多个,以9.6微米为中心的狭窄光谱带较强,其余吸收带常与水汽、COZ吸收带相重叠。人气对短波辐射吸收很小,而对长波辐射吸收很强,所以它大大减弱了地球向宇宙空间的辐射,对地球表面起保温作用,称大气保暖效应。 分类按照发射方向,地球辐射可分为: 地球向上辐射指地面和大气的向上辐射的总和〔。地面放出的长波辐射,其强度决定于地面温度,温度越高,地面向上辐射就越强。地面向上辐射有明显的日变化.以午后为最大,日出前后最小大气向上辐射也有类似变化,但变化幅度与鼠值均较地面向上辐射为小。地面向上辐射是地面对人气加热的主要方式之一 大气向下辐射习惯称大气逆辐射,由大气或云层向下(地面)发射的长波辐射。人气逆辐射到达地面时有90%以上被吸收,用来补偿地面的辐射失热.有云时大气逆辐射明显加强。 地面有效辐射指地面向上发射的长波辐射一与吸收的大气逆辐射之差,表示在长波辐射交换过程中地面净损失的能量。由于地面温度约比对流层平均温度高出50K,所以长波辐射交换结果地面总是损失能鼠,使地面冷却,晴夜地面降温就是由此引起的地面有效辐射是地表辐射平衡方程的主要分量之一〕地面温度越高,地面向上辐射越强,可使有效辐射越人;气温越高,大气中水汽含量和云量越多,则有效辐射越小。晴空时有效辐射具有明显的日变化,其最大值在午后出现,最小值在日出前出现。有效辐射年变化以夏季最大,冬季最小。在山区,由于海拔高度增加,大气逆辐射减小,有效辐射增大。在中亚沙漠上测得的地面有效辐射为1.剐焦·厘米一“·分一’。
