The uniformly modulated evolutionary function is introduced for the seismic response analysis of a self-anchored suspension bridge with the non-stationary seismic excitation amplitudes and the seismic spatial varying ground motion effect including wave passage effect, ground motion coherence loss and local-spatial variation ground effect taken into account.

The results show that disc side face run-out results in brake torque variation by means of disc thickness variation.

Prestley s mathematical model of non-uniformly modulated evolutionary random pro- cess takes into account the non-stationary chaxacteristics not only of the excitation intensity, but also of the excitation frequency components.
