本系设有数控技术应用专业和机电一体化技术专业。学生经过三年的在校学习，掌握机电和从事数控加工技术所必须的理论知识、综合职业能力。学生毕业后，可从事数控加工程序的编制，数控机床的操作，使用常用的 cam软件进行计算机辅助设计，对机电设备自动化生产的运行和维护管理等工作，成为技术应用性专门人才。
我系拥有一支教学经验丰富的双师型教师队伍， 70%的教师拥有高级职称，从事教学工作均在20年以上；50%以上教师拥有高级操作证书。为保证学生在毕业前获得相应的技能等级证书，我系以专门的高级技师作为实习指导教师进行实践课教学。学院建有最先进的数控机床加工中心，配以国际标准fanuc、siemens等系统，拥有近百台全新金属切削机床、cad/camsm机房、100个点的数控编程软件供学生使用，保证每个学生有足够的独立实践时间。
