| 萜 terpene 通式为（C5H8）n的链状或环状烯烃类及其含氧化合物。大多数存在于植物的精油和树脂中，例如，柠檬油中的柠檬烯、松节油中的a-和β-蒎烯、香樟中的樟脑等。根据间异戊二烯单元C5H8的数目，萜可分以下几类（见下栏表）。
萜一般为无色液体。比水轻，有香味。不溶于水，溶于乙醇。萜的含氧化合物如柠檬醛、薄荷脑、樟脑等都很重要。 |
