kongxing sheji孔型设计(pass design)为使钢锭或钢坯在轧机上经过若干道次乳制变形，获得所要求的断面形状、尺寸及性能的产品而对一系列孔型进行的设计和计算工作。孔型设计的内容包括断面孔型设计，乳棍孔型设计和导卫装笠设计。 孔型设计是否合理，直接影响到成品的质量、轧机的生产能力、产品的成本、劳动条件和劳动强度。合理的孔型设计应满足以下要求:(l)保证获得优质量的产品;(2)保证轧机生产率高;(3)产品成本最低，使金属消耗、轧辊消耗和电能消耗少;(4)劳动条件好，劳动强度小;(5)适应车间的设备条件。 孔型设计一般按以下程序进行:(1)了解产品的技术条件和原料条件，掌握车间的设备条件和国内外生产该产品的有关工艺技术资料;(2)选择孔型系统;(3)计算轧制道次;(4)分配各道次延伸系数，确定各道次轧件断面面积，形状和尺寸;(5)根据各道次轧件断面形状和尺寸，设计相应的孔型形状和尺寸，并绘制孔型图;(6)把设计好的孔型按一定规则配置在轧辊上，并绘制配辊图;(7)进行必要的校核，包括对咬入条件和电机负荷的校核，在必要时还要对轧棍强度进行校核;(8)根据孔型图和配辊图，设计导卫装置、检测样板等辅件并绘图。
