| 尧 中国传说中的古帝王，父系氏族社会后期炎黄部落联盟领袖。帝喾少子。姓伊耆，名放勋，号陶唐氏，史称帝尧、唐尧。传说他勤俭朴素，办事公正，体恤人民，被视为仁君的典范。曾设官治理国政，掌管时令，制定历法，并用鲧治水。晚年征询四岳（四方部落首领）意见，推荐舜为其继承人。恐长子丹朱不服，将其放逐于南方，后丹朱举兵反叛，尧亲自率兵平叛，处死丹朱，让位给舜。一说尧晚年德衰，舜夺其位，并将其放逐于平阳。 |
