性质:淀粉衍生物的一类。是在淀粉的羟基上引入阳离子而形成的淀粉系列。与一般淀粉相比,具有糊化温度较低、糊黏度较高、凝沉性弱、透明度较高等特性。将淀粉浆液与阳离子醚化剂在碱催化剂、阻胶凝剂存在下,加热反应而得。醚化剂大多数是含氮化合物(如环氧氯丙烷-三甲胺加合物、氯化3-氯-2羟丙基三甲基铵),少数也有含磷或硫的有机化合物。阳离子淀粉有叔胺型、季铵型、氨乙基、氰氨基、双醛、络合型等。其中主要的是叔胺和季铵型阳离子淀粉。由于能产生阳离子,与带负电性的纤维或粒子强烈吸附,可将其加入浆料内,作为助留助滤剂和干增强剂。用作造纸的施胶剂,可使纸页的成形性好,通过造纸机织网时的排水性好,并能提高纸的耐破强度、伸长性、耐折性和抗粘辊性。还可用作织物的上浆剂,工业废水处理和造矿的絮凝剂。还可用于色谱分离核酸。阳离子淀粉可作为中性施胶剂AKD和ASA乳液制备的乳化剂和稳定剂,在油田钻井中作为具有高钙及高盐浓度的钻探液体的液体损失控制剂。
