Analysis of modern times western and eastern costumes interchange based on missionary schools in Shandong province;

The paper analyzes the development situation of the running school of the Western church in Wuhan,and summarizes the influence of the Western church school on the modern educational building and the characters of the modern missionary school building,to reveal the development process of Chinese architectures in the process of the cultural fusion between Chinese and Western.

In the early times of China,Shaanxi Province finished taking over the old public schools,accepting private schools,and expropriating missionary schools,which are the basis of our new education of socialism.

The Engliish teaching of China in the early years of the 19th century has the following characteristics:a few Chinese students began to accept English education in the Anglo-Chinese College and Morrison School and the setting up of some mission schools symbolized the beginning of China s English teachng.

But prior to the outbreak of the Opium War to the establishment of Tong Wen Guan in 1862, Protestant missionaries, following commercial fleets and later on protected by the treaties and warships, set up about 50 mission schools, first in Canton(Guangzhou), Macao and Hong Kong, and then in the open port cities.

This thesis is a brief sketch of the history of the American mission schools in China ,trying to explore their development systematically.
