【香港出口信用保险局】香港政府投资设立的出口信用保险机构。19肠年根据一项专门法规成立，资本金2(XX)万港元。根据该法规，香港政府对ECIC的债务在75亿港元之内(1991年)给予担保。ECIC的保险业务，主要是“综合货运保单”，这是一种以承保DP、DA、以支付方式的出口为主，负责出运后风险的短期出口信用综合险保单。此外还有港外贸易保单、综合出口财务保证公司货运保单、综合服务保单、展期保单、综合合同保单、海外加工和存货保单、驻港采购机构业务保单等，但业务量都不大。中长期出口信用保险也是有保单，无业务。香港EcIC的特点是采用商业原则经营，政府不予任何补贴。在日常业务活动中ECIC有充分的经营自主权，政府不直接干预其业务决策，尽管按照法律规定，业务方针的重大改变须经政府批准，并有一个港督任命的12人咨询委员会指导ECIC开展工作，但EcIC可不受其意见的约束。ECIC通常仅承保香港出口总额的2一3%，而且在伦敦商业保险市场办理了成数分保和超赔分保，除1983年由于世界性债务危机发生严重亏损外，其余年份均做到了盈余。ECIC不直接提供出口融资，但它的保单对于商业银行叙做出口票据贴现提供了安全保障。
