在自动对焦时，也可以自行调整最後焦点，即为「全时手动对焦」。可再分两种：「电子式手动对焦」─搭配在大口径超望远镜头上，电子回路检测手动对焦环的转动量，再驱动镜身马达；「全时机械式手动对焦」─启用时，不需消耗电力，乃藉由不同於af时的滚轴、转环来带动镜片组。
