      研究恒负荷下高聚物的形变随温度的变化的分析方法,也称温度应变法,英文缩写TMA。热-力分析中在一定形状的试样上施以规定的负荷,在升温或降温过程中,试样产生各种转变,其模量因所转变的状态而异,故应变也随之不同。一般,借连接在压杆上的差动变压器的铁芯的移动来记录应变的大小。随压头形状和夹具机构的不同,可相应得到温度-应变图(见图)或温度-模量(压缩、拉伸或弯曲)图,简称TMA图。
  
  用此装置也可作蠕变试验或测定针入法软化温度等。如果采用杠杆平衡法或浮力法抵消压杆重量,则压杆仅起传递长度变化的作用,可使试样在不受负荷的情况下进行试验,所得结果即为试样的线膨胀,据此可计算其线膨胀系数。
  
  如果装置附有自动微分单元,还可从累积型的TMA曲线获得微商型的热-力分析曲线(DTMA曲线),此曲线的形状与差示扫描量热法DSC曲线相似,在研究高聚物转变时,可以相互印证。
