烟煤
bituminous coal
    由褐煤经变质作用转变而成的煤种。煤化程度高于褐煤而低于无烟煤。包括长焰煤、气煤、肥煤、焦煤、瘦煤、贫煤等。呈灰黑至黑色,具沥青光泽至金刚光泽,通常有条带状结构  ,不含原生腐殖酸。挥发分为10%~40% ,一般随煤化程度增高而降低。碳含量为76%~92%,发热量较高,热值为2.71~3.72万焦/千克  。大部分烟煤具有粘结性,燃烧时火焰高而有烟,故名烟煤。烟煤储量丰富,用途广泛,可作为炼焦、动力、气化用煤。烟煤燃烧多烟容易造成空气污染。
