During debugging period of Geheyan first-step vertical shiplift,the test is done for checking the static stress and dynamic stress under starting,stopping and regular operating conditions in the hoisting drum,the result shows that the drum is reasonably designed with a certain amount of safety factor.

Its scale is of 500-t level and its type is of a single-lift shiplock plus a cable-hoisting vertical shiplift balanced with full counterweight.
