【Objective】A retrospective study was undertaken to assess the functional outcome of reconstruction of wrist extension and finger extension and that of finger extension by tendon transfer in cases of irreparable brachial plexus injury,and to compare the functional recovery of the two kinds of operation.

spontaneous rupture of extensor pollicis longus muscle tendon
又称“鼓手麻痹”。指拇长伸肌腱在轻微外力作用下发生断裂。拇长伸肌腱是绕过桡骨远端背侧的Lister结节后，才进入手背到拇指去。一旦该结节附近的解剖学异常，如桡骨远端骨折后，均有可能因骨面不平滑，对肌腱有磨损作用，终于发生断裂。有时类风湿病亦有类似情况。治疗不宜缝合断裂的拇长伸肌，而改用示指固有伸肌移位术，常可取得良好效果。
