| 探测器 detector 观察 、记录粒子的装置 ，核物理和粒子物理实验研究中不可缺少的设备。探测器可分为两类：①计数器。有电离室、正比计数器 、盖革-米勒计数器 、闪烁计数器、切伦科夫计数器、半导体探测器等等。它的目的主要是用来记录粒子的数目。一般要求计数器具有一定的时间分辨率，即先后两个粒子射入计数器可分辨的时间。通常计数器常与定标电路和符合电路联合使用。定标电路是一种将脉冲计数进制的电路，通过计数器与定标电路的联用，可对粒子快速计数 ；符合电路是将两个或两个以上的计数管同电子线路配合而成，它可以专门只记录那些使计数管协同动作的粒子，而对于只使一个计数管动作的粒子不作反应，从而记录所需寻找的粒子。②径迹探测器。有云室、气泡室、流光室、火花室、多丝正比室、核乳胶等。它可以显示粒子穿行的径迹。径迹探测器配以适当的磁场，可根据径迹的长短、粗细、弯曲的方向和弯曲的曲率半径推测出粒子的电荷、质量和能量。 |
