| 摩诃巴里补罗神庙 Mahabalipuram Temples 印度中世纪印度教神庙群。位于今泰米尔纳德邦首府马德拉斯以南约56千米的摩诃巴里补罗，兴建于7～8世纪帕拉瓦王朝，神庙群由五车神庙、石窟神庙、海岸神庙组成。①五车神庙 ，是5座用整块岩石雕凿的战车形神庙 ，以印度史诗《摩诃婆罗多》中般度族的人物命名，即黑公主战车、阿周那战车 、毗摩战车、法王战车、偕天战车，神庙外壁有高浮雕嵌板，表现印度教诸神和帕拉瓦王室的雕像。②石窟神庙，通曼达波(柱廊)为岩凿浅廊，有10座，列柱以蹲狮为柱础，室内平面呈长方形，侧壁装饰有表现印度教神话场面的高浮雕嵌板。③海岸神庙，以大块花岗石垒成，形似法王战车，有主殿、后殿，低矮的围墙上有成排的圆雕公牛，及坐在雄狮腿上的杜尔加。 |
