Millennium Park, with its downtown location and 24 hectares, is now creating a new image for this old industry and commercial centre as it converts to public activities and art centre.

This article aims to analyze cultural differences in the two millennium speeches in terms of ways of thinking, value concept and speech style.

The thesis argues that Millennials’unique collective personae are formed by the interaction of the specific economic and social backgrounds in which they were born and raised up and their deep-rooted values; and that their distinctive responses to the major social, moral and political issues are good reflections of their unique value orientations and political ideas.
