FRIPP研究开发的CB-11、CB-8重整催化剂具有良好的活性、选择性和低压稳定性，可以在0.88MPa的低压固定床催化重整装置上长周期使用。例如某炼油厂将采用CB-11/CB-8组合催化剂，新建0.88MPa低压固定床重整装置。重整原料油为60～180℃石脑油馏分，其烃族组成为：烷烃52.66m%，环烷烃34.74m%，芳烃12.62m%,芳烃潜含量44.91m%。重整反应的模拟计算结果列于下表。由表可见，重整反应压力由1.47MPa降低到0.86MPa，在加权平均床层温度低3.5℃的条件下，液体产品收率增加2.76个百分点，芳烃产率增加2个百分点，芳烃转化率增加4.5个百分点，循环氢纯度增加5.12个百分点，纯氢产率增加0.4个百分点，有明显的经济效益。
