This paper presents an algorithm for generating section line based on TIN of coal bed, which makes full use of the topology relation among all triangles in TIN and efficiency index to search triangles with the section line, and can indicate the intersecting relation between faultage and section lines efficiently.

Based on the working method about the interpretation of Airborne Electromagnetic anomaly and predecessor works,we develop the instant display function,which is developed by utilizing attribute data to plot the profile curve of Airborne Electromagnetic by using VB programming based on MAPGIS(SDK)6.

This paper discusses the Hx,Hz profile curve of the magnetic field at different depth and current,and describes the ways of detecting them,and shows two practical application samples of pipeline exploration which its depth is deeper than 5m.
