| 国际复兴开发银行 International Bank for Reconstruction and Development 又称世界银行。根据1944年布雷顿森林会议拟定的《国际复兴开发银行协定》于1945年12月成立，1947年成为联合国经济方面的专门机构之一。该组织的宗旨是：通过提供长期贷款和投资，解决成员国经济复兴和开发所需的资金。主要方式有：向成员国提供长期贷款；对由政府担保的私人企业提供用于生产性投资的长期贷款；向成员国提供广泛的技术援助；派代表团到借款国进行考察，并派驻顾问。国际复兴开发银行的资金来源于各成员国认缴的股金，向国际金融市场发行债券和银行收入。世界银行的贷款期限，可长达25年，利率较一般贷款为低。贷款趋向以农业、能源和交通运输为重点。国际复兴开发银行的最高权力机关是理事会，由各成员国委派正、副理事各一人组成，每年开一次会议。主持日常工作的是执行董事会 ，由21名董事组成 。其中5名由股份最多的五国指派，其余16名选举产生。行长由执行董事会推荐。行址设在华盛顿。
