性质:又称聚对亚苯基。主链完全由对苯基连接的一类刚性链聚合物。黑色结晶,不熔不溶,难成型加工。耐高温性优良,氮气中900℃时失重率小于10%,可在300~400℃长期使用。耐辐射、耐化学腐蚀,耐摩擦,有良好的电性能。可用于恶劣条件下的化工设备和宇航方面,也可用作耐烧蚀材料。可由苯进行弗-克反应或由聚环己二烯芳构化制得,或在低分子量聚苯预聚物中加入固化剂交联成型,或烧结成型。模压烧结制品的拉伸强度6.3~13.7MPa,伸长率8%~12%。拉伸模量151MPa。体积电阻率2×1015Ω·cm。聚苯的自润滑性优于MoS2和石墨。可作为高温离子交换树脂,耐高温、耐辐照涂料及胶黏剂,高温耐磨零部件等。在苯环上引入取代基,则可降低熔融温度、改善溶解性,有利成型加工。聚苯不仅通过电化学掺杂可成为p型导电体,还因为它具有电子受体的性质,也能成为n型导电体,其电导率可达102~103S/cm。它具有可逆的氧化—还原特性,可作为蓄电池的电极材料。
