【中国第一部保险教科书]保险书籍。王效文编《保险学》，商务印书馆1925年2月出版，马寅初与吕岳泉为之作序。马寅初在序言中说“吾国向无所谓保险学，有之，自本书始”。全书共分四编，为寿险、水险、火险、法律。出版后在保险界引起很大反响，作为新学制高级商业学校教科书。1932年10月第一次修订出版，1934年ro月第二次修订出版，修订本有孔涤庵加人共同编著，将原书第四编法律部分溶于各编之中，另增总论一编于书首，起提纲掣领作用，故仍为四编。
