该雷结构紧凑，战斗部可轻易击穿厚度为140毫米的坦克底部装甲，在穿透坦克底部装甲后所引发的二次效应足以杀伤车内乘员和损坏车内设备。另外，该地雷由于采用了最新设计的电子/触发式引信，并具有识别功能（机械和震动信号），可以在坦克通过时攻击坦克底部。在雷上还装有双重压力和电子安全装置，因此具有很高的操作安全性。自身的反干扰功能可以保护它不受闪电、光亮、电磁脉冲和电磁辐射的影响。
