性质:可燃气体燃烧时所发生的现象。可燃液体或固体须先变成气体,才能燃烧而生成火焰。主要由于可燃气体被空气中的或单纯的氧气氧化而发光发热。一般分为三个部分。(1)内层。带蓝色,因供氧不足,燃烧不完全,温度最低,有还原作用。称内焰或还原焰。(2)中层。明亮。温度比内层高。(3)外层。无色。因供氧充足,燃烧完全,温度最高,有氧化作用。称外焰或氧化焰。或分为:(1)焰心。中心的黑暗部分,由能燃烧而还未燃烧的气体所组成。(2)内焰。包围焰心的最明亮部分,是气体未完全燃烧的部分。含着碳粒子,被烧热发出强光,并有还原作用,也称还原焰。(3)外焰。最外面几乎无光的部分,是气体完全燃烧的部分。含着过量而强热的空气,有氧化作用,也称氧化焰。
