r-73短程格斗导弹
与r-27一样,r-73也是俄罗斯空军现役战斗机的主要空对空导弹。可以毫不夸张地说，上世纪80年代才首次露面的r-73改写了整个短程格斗导弹的发展历史。她的高机动性、大离轴角发射能力以及能与头盔瞄准具相结合的特性使得她看起来俨然是一个高贵的妇人。以至于西方国家的任何一种导弹在她面前，都如半老徐娘那样显得寒酸。
不过令人扼腕叹息的是，由于俄罗斯经济崩溃、社会动荡，这种先进的空对空导弹诞生20余年来却从未进行过改进。由于俄罗斯无力发展新型的短程格斗导弹，r-73注定还要再服役至少十余年。"三角旗"设计局目前已经提出了若干改进的建议，主要集中在更换精密的红外线成像导引头上。r-73导弹的出口同样也受到了载机平台的限制，因此在数量上甚至不能和法国的"魔术"导弹相媲美。我国空军在引进苏-27sk战斗机的同时也进口了大批r-73短程格斗导弹，这使得台湾空军在近距格斗上捞不到一点好处。
