The results demonstrate that: modern Filipino-Chinese secondary school students in Philippines have been highly integrated into the mainstream of Philippine society;the gene of mother tongue exists but the situation is weakening;the bottleneck problems of poor performance of Chinese language teaching,teacher resources,teaching materials and teaching methods remain prominent.

This article summarizes one language gene named FOXP2,focuses on how the gene was identi-fied and the suggestion to future language research.

The domestic teaching of English pronunciation is mainly based on the standard contemporary Chinese-Putonghua(social mother dialect), while in the practical teaching,lots of English pronunciation errors originate from the learners mother dialects(natural mother dialect).
