| 童寯（1900～1983） 中国建筑学家，建筑师。字伯潜。满族。奉天盛京（今辽宁沈阳）人。1925年毕业于清华学校。1928年毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚大学建筑系，获硕士学位。1930年回国后，任东北大学建筑系教授。1932～1952年在上海与赵深、陈植创办华盖建筑事务所 ，3人合作设计的主要工程有南京外交部大楼、大上海大戏院、上海浙江兴业银行大楼等。1944年起兼任中央大学工学院（1949年改称南京大学工学院 ，1952年改组为南京工学院）建筑系教授，直至逝世。参加设计的民用 、工业建筑工程约100项。自30年代即致力于中国古典园林的研究，晚年主要从事建筑理论和历史研究。著有《江南园林志》、《造园史纲》、《近百年西方建筑史》等。临终前仍为《中国大百科全书》撰写江南园林条目。 |
