With the social and economic development,the increase in leisure time and the enhancement of people s environmental awareness,the community s demands for forest leisure are increasingly strong.

This paper advances the driving mode of forest leisure based on the advanced experience during the course of forest leisure developing abroad,also gives policy suggestions about the development of forest leisure industry in China.

This paper used the sustainable development theory, system theory, location theory and experience economics, summarized the leisure research, forest leisure research and recreation opportunity spectrum research at home and abroad, reviewed the existing problems and development trends.
