The essence of education and its life trait tells us that education is an open, complex and perpetual process and the uncertainty of education exists truly, which asks us to convert our educational thought and reread the law of education.

In order to fully explore and make best use of abundant information with advanced technology, reader education is supposed to be strengthened considering the status quo in college library.

Based on a survey analysis related with content,form and other aspects of eight key academic libraries sites reader education in Hebei province,the paper points out the problems of online reader education in academic libraries of Hebei province and then give some suggestions for the future development.

The article expounds the importance of reader education in college library and suggests that readers are supposed be guided appropriately in the new era.

In the network environment,readers education system should be continuously strengthened and the library management should be constantly improved so as to embody the conception of management and service with " readers as the dominant factor",and to promote the further perfection of library service.

College libraries should keep abreast of the network era, carry out the work of readers education, dearly define the educational goal, explore educational ways and strengthen the fostering of the readers information consciousness and information ability so as to inprove their information consciourness and abi.

This paper discusses many different means of readers education:first,the education on how to make use of the library,veseacher information;second,education about the information knowledge,the content and method;finally moral education.
