| 温室效应 greenhouse effect 大气对地球的保暖作用。地球一方面受太阳辐射而吸收热量，另一方面又按其自身的温度发散热量，这两种热量收支平衡过程的结果，就决定了目前地球表面的平均温度－15℃。 在密度较大的大气下层，长波太阳辐射被水蒸气和二氧化碳吸收，到达地表的主要是短波太阳辐射。穿过大气的太阳直接辐射和散射光，一部分被地表反射，一部分被地表吸收。地表因吸收短波辐射而被加热提高温度，再以长波向外辐射。地表的长波辐射大部分被大气中的水蒸气、二氧化碳、甲烷、臭氧等吸收。同样，大气吸收辐射能后被加热，也以长波向地表和天空辐射。于是，很大一部分辐射能又返回地表。大部分长波辐射能被阻留在地表和大气下层，从而使其温度增高。这种现象同温室中的相似，故称为温室效应。大气中能起温室效应的气体称为温室气体，其含量的多少会影响温室效应的强弱（即地球平均温度增加的程度）。近百年来由于工业化的进展和人类活动的影响，致使大气中一些温室气体（如二氧化碳、甲烷、氯氟烃、一氧化二氮等）的浓度持续增长，这就增强了自然温室效应。其结果使全球气候变暖，造成严重的环境问题，可能对自然生态系统和人类产生不利影响，成为全世界关心的重大问题之一。 |
