According to people s different views about the conception and theories of landscape sculpture at present, the article tries to analyse thoroughly the conception and development of landscape sculpture, and to explain each design element of it.

Set out from the analysis of the meaning and characteristic of space theory , various character in space design of landscape sculpture in actuality and aiming at the model in history of landscape sculpture , in this paper, author applied the space theory into the plan and design of landscape sculpture and explain the character and method of sculpture design in landscape.
