During the development of the Green and Resource Chemistry,our group has invented an efficient and environmemt-friendly method to degrade steroidal sapogenins with hydrogen peroxide,and the optically pure(R)-5-methyl-tetrahydropyran-2-one and(R)-4-methyl-dihydrofuran-2(3H)-one can be obtained from the reaction of steroidal sapongenins\' degradation.
甾体皂甙元是我国甾体化学工业的基本原料,我们小组近年来以资源化学和绿色化学为研究方向,发展了洁净的降解甾体皂甙元的方法,该方法不仅对环境友好,将甾体皂甙元降解为甾体内酯、孕甾三醇、孕甾烯酮和雄甾醇,还可以从降解体系中获得副产物(R)-5-甲基-δ-戊酸内酯和(R)-4-甲基-γ-丁酸内酯。

For example,we used these chairal reagents for the synthesis of(R)-Citralis Nitrile.
用(R)-4-甲基-γ-丁酸内酯与溴化氢乙醇溶液反应,以86%的收率得到(R)-4-溴-3-甲基丁酸乙酯,再与氰化钠反应,以87%的收率得到(S)-4-氰基-3-甲基丁酸乙酯;将(R)-4-甲基-γ-丁酸内酯与苄溴反应,通过苄溴量的变化以及后处理方法的改变,分别以91%和90%的收率合成了(R)-4-苄氧基—3—甲基丁酸和(R)-4-苄氧基-3-甲基丁酸苄酯。
