This paper introduces a new method for realizing the remote measuring,remote controlling and alarm through remanufacturing the needle manometer into the remote intelligent pressure meter,and introduces the hardware and software design of single chip computer system and the development and relative application of the corollary electronic monitoring system.

In the data monitoring subsystem of its technical diagnostic system,three-layer network structure is applied to monitor EAST equipment which consists of management floor,monitoring floor and field floor,while acquisition cards are used to collect signal,data transmitted by Ethernet according to the characters and performance requirements of EAST experiment.
