风景名胜区
具有一定特色，旅游资源比较集中的整体性地域。它不仅是具有丰富且价值很高的风景名胜资源，而且是按国家规定程序报国务院及地方各级人民政府审定批准公布，并划定范围的区域。国家规定，凡是有观赏、文化或科学价值，自然景物、人文景物比较集中，环境优美，具有一定规模和范围，可供人们游览、休息或进行科学、文化活动的地区，应划为风景名胜区。中国风景名胜区分为国家级、省级，市县级三个级别。风景名胜区，有的以自然风光为主，名胜古迹为辅；有的以名胜古迹为主，自然风光为辅；有的自然风光和名胜古迹的观赏价值均高，二者有机地结合，融为一体。中国风景名胜区常常是较大旅游区的组成部分。
