古油藏带位于羌塘盆地中央隆起带南部羌南坳陷比隆错 -昂达尔错地区 ,东西长 10 0km ,南北宽 2 0km ,为一狭长湿状油苗群 ,露头上岩石的颜色呈暗褐色、褐灰色 ,为中侏罗统布曲组的白云岩。

生产方法：主要采用合成法。以2，3-二甲基-2-庚烯-6-酮和乙炔为原料，经合成而得。也可从鸢尾根、复盆子、海桐花等天然原料中，经分离提取而得。
用途：酮类合成香料。是优良的紫罗兰香料，用作高级调合香料，用于香水、冷霜等化妆品及香皂等。
