补充资料:津轻海峡
津轻海峡 Tsugaru-Kaikyō 位于日本本州岛与北海道岛之间。海峡西连日本海,东通太平洋,是日本海通往太平洋的门户。海峡东西走向,长约130千米,南北宽18~75千米。海峡中间开阔、两端狭窄,东端宽约20多千米,西端宽只有18千米。海峡地形崎岖不平,东深西浅,西部最浅处133米,东部最深处449米。中央水道一般水深200米,最深处521米。海峡横向海底也是高低悬殊,如从龙飞崎到白神岬间,延伸着两个突起部分,其间为深度280米、350米、450米的3个海底洼地。日本海同太平洋间海水通过海峡进行交换。日本海中暖流汇集于津轻海峡然后流出。从海峡流出的海流同来自白令海的寒流在外海相遇,使海峡附近不仅有从海中深处带至表层的营养盐类,而且有来自热带性和寒带性的浮游生物,为重要的渔业基地 。津轻海峡的复杂地形造成了汹涌波涛,严重影响日本两个最大岛屿间的交通运输。日本自1971年开始修建穿过津轻海峡的青(森)函(馆)隧道工程,隧道全长53.85千米,海底部分23.3千米。这一宏伟、艰巨工程于1982年竣工,成为本州和北海道联为一体的运输动脉。 |
